Clocked and unclocked broadcast delivery
on Jul 23, 2013 at 3:11:44 pm

I just got a delivery spec question from an acquaintance, and this one has me stumped. It's calling for one clocked and one unclocked version. Anyone know what that means?? Timecode burn in? Not sure why they would want that though...any help is much appreciated!

Here's the spec request...

SPECS (FOR US TV VERSION, EUROPEAN TV VERSION, AND WEB VERSION):
For US TV, one clocked one unclocked:

• Drop Frame
• Max peak audio is -10dbFS. Please watch your levels and adjust as needed.
• NO bars and tones. NO countdowns. NO chyron on the video.
• All videos MUST have a slate that lists artist/title/label/time... Slate should be 3 seconds
long, followed by 2 seconds of black.
• For SD videos, they CANNOT be anamorphic. Use letterbox to preserve aspect ratio.
• At the end of a video there should be at least two frames of black (and no more than 1
second of black)
• NO 4:1 cadence. Must be 3:2.

HD FILES should be:
• Screen Size: 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720

Little Endian, 24 bit)
