Michael Locketime lapse (5184x3456) sequence setting

Howdy Cow-pokes,

Trying to set up a time-lapse sequence in FCP 7 (OSX10.6.8), and I can't get a width over 4096 (4K yes?). Either dropping the QT7 generated image sequence (422HQ) on the timeline, or trying a custom preset, the results are the same:

So, is this possible, or am I missing something obvious (thus the "basics" forum)?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give...
