Wow. So basically batch capture--one of the biggest advantages to DIGITAL video, in that it automatically breaks up clips and you can re-digitize later if you need to--is broken in Premiere Pro in 24p? Isn't that something they should note, as in, it's a major bug? I'm pretty sure FCP doesn't have the same issues (we're using PPro because of economics, and because of Dynamic Link).

We're shooting at a 40:1 ratio; right now we have 21 hours of footage and about 30 minutes of finished product. It is in NO way feasible for us to manually set in and out points for every clip on the tape. And here I was thinking that Adobe was going to turn around the Premiere franchise with the release of the "Pro" version. Normally you'd think "Pro" would mean "works as it should." But here we are four versions in and a few YEARS later and it still can't handle 24p correctly.

Ah well. Sorry for the rant; just about to lose a day of my life manually setting pulldown on 120 shots. Thanks for your help.
