[Joseph W. Bourke] "I would also warn my client up front that, no matter how much they like it, there are no promises that it won't look like something the cow left behind when it hits the air. Base it on your experience and knowledge, and the technical side, and sometimes the client can be brought to reason - and sometimes they can't."

I've talked until I'm blue in the face. They're great clients, really great and 99% of the time we agree but this is an issue I've been fighting for a year. When the spots air in HD the red looks good enough where i can live with it. It's when a small regional station wants to get the spot delivered as a quicktime NTSC DV or MPEG 2 at 18 mbits/sec lower than even DV at 25mbits is when it becomes an issue. A part of it is also pride because I want to show my work in it's best light.

Thanks for the advice on adding more blue and green I will give it a shot.

Thanks,

Joe
