Correct. VFR is 1080p only on the AF100. 1080i wouldn't make any sense. VFR works in 1080p60 just like it does in 720p60 on other Panasonic cameras. The problem is, since this signal required to output 1080p60 is 3G SDI, that would require "more expensive" electronics and a lot of monitors/external recorders wouldn't be able to handle the signal. Although, FSI is including 3G SDI in their $5k top of the line 10bit monitor. 1080p60 will be a reality one day, but as of now it's reserved for a special few.
