Hi Guys...

Let's say I've got a Comp destined for NTSC

Comp frame rate = 29.97

Layers in the comp can vary either telecine source ro video source, so the frame rates and cadence vary...

I always thought that you could take the telecine footage and:

1) Go to Footage operator and identify the WS pattern
2) use the pull down pattern options to remove the split frames
3) Adjust the frame rate appropriately:to 24 fps for example
4) And then plug it intoa NTSC comp as a layer
5) Remember to use local time when adding operators so you edit and add keyframes appropriately.
6) Mix with NTSC layers as normal in the comp...

Is this or is it not an appropraite workflow?

Thanks....
