Ingested iPhone 6 audio (PAN need assistance)

All,

I'm fairly familiar with ingesting video, thanks to Shane Ross mostly, but I'm confused about the audio track's panning as below:

Two sources for my project: Sony PJ-790V (ACVHD) and iPHONE 6+.
No issues with the PJ-790 (again, thanks Shane).

In FCP 7, I've ingested (log and transfer) my AVCHD using Prores 422. My sequence is set up as so.
However, when I import video captured with my iPHONE 6+, there is a single 'mono' audio track, with a PAN of 0 (centered?)

What do I need to be doing here? Do I copy A and make a B audio track, then alter the panning to simulate 'stereo'?

THANK YOU in advance.

-Bob

No need to copy the track unless you need more gain. Copying the track won't make stereo (BTW,never a good idea using stereo for dialogue) just dual mono. If you do copy, keep both tracks panned center rather than one left and one right.
