X-Files Pro is a new utility application that gives under-the-hood maintenance and management controls to Final Cut Pro X users.

Andreas makes some very nice tools, looking forward to playing with this.

[Charlie Austin] "Sorry for the off topic post."

As I look thru the list of utilities it seems to be composed mostly of ways to unscrew up X that no other NLe would have screwed up in the first place.

See, I knew you needed a little snark today.

No, we dabble in snark, obfuscation and insinuation here, then we double down with ad hock character assassination.

All in good fun.

yep. thats about the size of it. Although I really had to stop ranting once Bill did. It felt unseemly without him bashing on the other end.

still to be fair - if I was FCPX based, I'd skip and jig a bit at the management of the proper autosave vault and that.

nothing wrong with third party wrenches. like this little baby for example:

oh the birth of mainstream adoption premiere ecosystem - is there nothing sweeter?
