Colour grading in PP

I'm editing a commercial property video that was shot on a 7D using a flat cinestyle picture profile.

What grading effects should I use in Premiere to make the picture look less flat and make it stand out?

Try Red Giant Magic Bullet Colorista. I use it for my 5D footages

Colorista is great - use it all the time - but my new fav by far is Film Convert - much more filmic than any other plug-in and great color wheels etc. Super fast to get a great look.

When shooting in RAW or "Film Style" flat you really need to go into color grading to make the footage look as you want it to look. That RAW look gives you complete control over the final look of any scene.

Start with the basic balance using the 3 Way Color Grading tool in PP and if you want to add more control add Colorista or Magic Bullet Looks from Red Giant.
