Colorgrading Glitches Upon Export

Hi all -

I am working on a video where we shot a woman in a white dress. I've simply duplicated the clip, cropped and feathered the top layer and added a blue tint. In Premiere, it's a subtle and gradual effect, but when exported, looks crazy. (See attached examples.)

I am currently using Proxies, and here are the setting details:

Mac Mini (Late 2017)
OS High Sierra 10.13.4

Project Settings
Version: Adobe Premiere CC Ver. 12.0
Sequence: 1920x1080 DSLR 23.976
Footage: Proxy files, 1024x540

Attached are examples of how the footage looks in the project, and how it looks upon export.

Any ideas on why this is happening, or any workarounds? Is this a glitch in the newest version? I've tested this with the full res footage, and the problem persists. Is this a render issue?

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried different rendering modes - software only versus Metal or OpenCL?

Hmmm. Looks like I don't even have that option in my settings:

My computer is a bit of a dinosaur, it's a Mac Mini late 2012.

is it simply that I just don't have the capacity on this system?
