New Mac Pro for Resolve

Hi,

I am considering upgrading our current 6-Core Mac Pro 5.1 to a New MacPro 12-core D700.

Since its mainly a Resolve workstation would I be better off sticking with the 5.1 while adding a Cubix with 4 high end GPUs? Will this give me a better performance in Resolve compared to the 12-core New MP?
