Animating between font styles?
by Adam Lewen on Jul 1, 2019 at 2:15:18 pm
I have what seemed as a simple task but I am looking for help/suggestion/tip...
On the side of a motion graphics video I am making, I have a bar of countries.
2-4 countries are highlighted for a few seconds, and then the shapes next to them are sliding down/animating/turning off to the next 2 or 3 or 4 countries...
Is there a way to animate between font styles?
Back in time I used a method which is too complex for dozens of countries - Morphing between shape paths I made out of texts...
I'm trying to find a nice smooth solution for this bar...
Thanks for any idea!

Hey Adam, going through fonts & their styles is not possible by expressions. Despite of that, you can apply Text Animator, add stroke controller, set its width and in addition to this, add tracking text animation prop, to accompany the width changes, once stroke is set.
