Hello,

I'm currently animating a rigged character but I have a bit of a problem. As you can see from the photos, each time I move my wrist controller, the hand and arm only partially move with it. The farther I move it from its original position, the more the arm, hand, and controller drift apart.

I suspect it's due to making the layers 3D, but I really need to work in 3D space, so does anybody have any idea how I can stop this from happening? Thanks.

hi
i think that u need to use a fake 3D technique with it
try search fake 3d and understand how is it working

Maybe try animating the boy without his layers being 3d. You can still make his comp 3d to use in the scene if you need it for that. If you don't have the continuous ratizeation box ticked it should let you handle his comp in 3d in the scene comp. If you have to zoom in super close you might get issues though.

Or if you really need these layers to be 3d try decrease the difference in Z depth between them. I think that's why the layers closer to the camera look like they're moving more than the other layers. If it's not that, you may be doing some sort of double movement if you're moving a layer and the layer it's parented to. I've seen issues that look like this from doing that myself in the past.
