Does the hpx500 do any other frame rate than 30fps?

TIA

60fps (at 720p) and 24fps....and everything in between. 48fps, 36fps...a bunch.

Why, what are you looking for?

Actually, here's another question.

I am "fiddling" with my menu functions in the hpx500.In my scene file menu, it shows frame rate as default and it's in blue. How do i get it to green so i can change it? And is 30fps the default?

TIA

Sam

Are you in VIDEO CAM mode? If so, I believe that 30fps is the only option. FILM CAM is the one you want. I believe that is also in SCENE FILE...but I have the HPX-170....and not here in front of me.

I just noticed that even in film mode it still is a blue default.
Do i have to change something else?

I don't know that camera...unsure if the menu is different than my 170. And I don't know the menus inside and out yet...camera at home. So I can't help until I get there.

Hopefully someone else will chime in

You put your camera in a 720pN mode (such as 720p24N) and then you can change the frame rate. The footage will get recorded over or under cranked and you will lose the audio. You can also put it in 720p60 mode and change the frame rate. It only works in 720p.
