Very good stuff. I love the flow of the reel and the work is exceptional. It is very MTV like. How long have you been creating motion graphics?

hey, thanks for the comments. I went to college for general media which only really included a week on after effects, so I've been toughing it out teaching myself AE over the past 8/9 months. I've been using C4D for about 2 months now.

I took video editing in college and the teach taught us nothing. basically we were required to learn Final Cut Pro by ourselves. In class he only showed us basic tricks like copying attributes and how to change user preferences. Everything i learned was from reading books, tutorials, creativecow, and indulging myself in editing.

I taught myself AE also. I realized that if i didn't know taht program when i got out of college i would be at a major disadvantage. It is used EVERYYWHERE. Good thing i learned it, casue now i am steps ahead of kids that are going to learn it in the real world.

So, hats off you to learning it yourself. If you dont know, check out www.ayatoweb.com. he has been my inspiration for a lot of work i do. It was not until his site, that i learned how to really make professional looking stuff.

Wow, impressive for less than a year in motion graphics. I have been using AE for about a year, and I have been just getting into C4D. What have you been using to learn C4D? Thanks.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Brandon, most of what I know from C4D comes from tutorials by 3Dkiwi, I think most came from www.c4dcafe.com, but I really forget where I got them all. I find his are the easiest to understand as my only experience in 3D prior to C4D was using Zaxwerks 3D Invig. Just google 3Dkiwi and you should find some good tutorials.

As a sidenote, I've been spending more time on www.mograph.net than on the cow lately, but I gotta say posting my reel here has helped out tons. I've gotten lots of job offers/freelance gigs lately and I swear about 70% of the people say they found out about me through this thread on the cow. I'd definitely suggest posting your work on here if you're like me and just starting out. Later peeps.

As you were,
Paul
