844X Plug-ins

Hi All,

I'm looking to create a list of compatible plug-ins for my blog http://www.844xuser.com. Would be great for those that are using 3rd party plug-ins that are working well in 844/X to list them here. The ones I know of so far that I have tested to work are Genarts - Saphire - http://www.genarts.com and the StageTools - MovingPicture - http://www.stagetools.com.

Cheers,

Evan

If anyone is using Ultimatte Advantedge with another
piece of software, the Combustion plugin version from
the install disk can be run from within 844. Doesn't
render as fast as AE or another program, however.

Boris Continuum Complete 3 works very well too. Also we are using Spice Master 2 for gradient wipes.

I have Boris Continuum Complete 3. Even though I have an Open GL card, some of the effects won't work. Ie. Glitter, Glint, Lens Flare. They work fine in AE but not on 844. Any ideas as to why?

I've sucessfully used Digital Film Tools' 55mm within the 844x.

As a point of interest though - the reason that AE plug-ins render so slow on the 844 is that it doesn't use both processors for rendering... In some cases it's actually faster to export to AE, render there and then deal with the 844 import hassle rather than have the 844 handle the rendering.

When ever I try to use AE plugins, I am missing titles to parameters within 844. Does anyone know why?
