Final Cut 7 audio issue
on Mar 23, 2019 at 1:56:29 am

I am editing in Final Cut 7.
The source video has 48.0 KHz/32 bit floating audio.
Final Cut sequence options only have settings for 8, 16 or 24 bit.
Is there any way to make this work?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Shawnda

Time to crack open soundtrack Pro. Use it to convert the audio to what you need.

Obviously, an aiff and NOT an mp3.

Go to settings. Choose the 48k pre set. Duplicate it then change the sample rate to 32k. Save that setting as whatever 32k and it will be available to you.

Sorry, misread. But under the same process you can make changes to most anything.
