Choice of interpolation method when up sampling clips in higher res sequences in FCP7?

Hi all,

I'm wondering if there's way to control the method by which FCP7 resamples when a lower res clip is placed into a higher res sequence? The way it looks now is smooth, but fuzzy, blurry edges like a bilinear or bicubic smooth interpolation (in photoshop speak), but i'm wondering if there's a way to force it to use something grittier like nearest neighbour, or to simply not resample it at all? I'm looking to get and keep those chunky, pixelated edges.

cheers,
J

Sorry, no, there is not. You can try various other scaling methods...Instant HD by Red Giant Software...scaling in After Effects...scaling in Motion...using MPEG STREAMCLIP....using COMPRESSOR...
