How to get monitoring output through my DVCAM Recorder in FCP.

Hi...

I am new to FCP. Before that i am using Avid Express pro. Now i captured video from my recorder (Sony DVCAM Recorder DSR 45 AP). through fw.. In Avid, i can get external monitor (TV) out signal through the DVCAM Recorder through fw cable... But in fcp i can't... In playback preference, A/V Output - none found shows. Kindly help Me... I want to get one external output signal to monitor.

First off, this will only work if your footage and sequence are DV.

Second, make sure that the device is powered up, and connected before you launch FCP.

Third, in the EASY SETUPS, choose "DV/NTSC." This should enable it to work.
