FCP7 audio drift after converting from Quicktime Player 10
on Apr 23, 2012 at 9:15:05 pm

Hi, I've recently just started editing basic videos and I'm using Quicktime Player 10 to record both audio and video at the same time. Before I render it in FCP7, the audio and video are fine and synced, however once i've converted it (using quicktime conversion, h.264 compression, AAC format @48kHz) and play it back again in VLC the audio starts drifting, and so I can't edit the video.

What can I do to stop this from happening? As I'm working on a budget I can't really afford any more software currently.

Thanks for your help.
