I just did some testshoots with the Canon hf xa10 today in the camerastore as I am about to buy the camera. I brought the footage home to review the quality and discovered that the clips were in fact not 25p as I assumed. It really was 25 psf which led to this horrible combeffect.
Since my footage often will be used for viewing on computers (which makes the combing effect visible) I really need to get rid of these artifacts.
So, whats the best way to get rid of the problem without loosing quality? I mean, deinterlacing is not an option for me because of the qualityloss. The true progressive information is there right, I just need the videfiles act as they are they are true progressive to, not interlaced like now.
I really need help on this matter because its amzingly difficult to find a sollution on the net. I am really surprised on how little helpful information I can find regarding this immensely huge problem.
