Resizing video
on Jan 10, 2012 at 8:25:53 pm

I have what I imagine to be a real basic question but I´m used to editing in Avid and I´m having a few troubles with FCP...

So I´m editing 3 different cameras: 2 in 1920x1080 and 1 in 720x576. I converted the 2 bigger formats to 720x576 and edited... now I realize that the aspect is deformed.

I would like to resize 2 video tracks to 720x405 and then I believe it would be the correct image. In Avid I would do a simple resize, but in FCP i´m lost.

Can anyone help?
Thanks and sorry for my english and for the basic basic basic question...

Double click the clip on the timeline to load it into the Viewer...click on the MOTION tab and now you have your EFFECTS EDITOR. Adjust the SCALE and the DISTORTION.
