I know this seems like the mos basic question yet I can't seem to get a simple answer...so I throw myself on the mercy of the smarter folk...
I'm doing a presentation that requires a lot of clips from different sources, so I expect a degradation in some quality, but if this is being projected from a dvd player, what would be the sequence settings to insure I don't have windowboxing?
I have clips at 720 x 404, 720 x 480, 680 x 480, etc. Some are from 16:9 sources. I've been editing those in a 680 x 480 sequence but if I use that setting, will the 16:9 be letterboxed? That's fine, but when I've burned a test disc, the image is windowboxed on an HD TV (which I know won't be used for my presentation).
Or should I use 720 x 480 for Sequence Settings and conform the 4:3 clips to sequence?
Very confused with deadline. Thanks so much for any advice!
