I double clicked on the clip in the browser to bring it into the viewer. The clip was only visible when I hit play and otherwise just white. Is there a setting to change to make the clip visible all the time, so I can see it without hitting play?

Karen,

It sounds like you have the "show alpha" setting on in the viewer. There are three drop down menus at the top of the viewer, make sure "Show RGB" is checked.

Best,
