White burst transition

Hello!

I would very much like to have this kind of quick transition between clips. If someone has a moment and can give me a quick a How-To I would be greatly appreciative.
Thanks!

Thank you!

You could use FCPs effect "dip to color", set the color to white and make the transition nice and quick. Not the best, but REALLY easy.

If you're interested in using it frequently, I gather a lot of professionals who edit this style of programming use this: http://www.nattress.com/Products/filmeffects/G_Film_Flash.htm
I've used a few and its one of the only 'authentic looking', nicely timed versions of it (it actually looks like a white burst, rather than a simple colour dip).

Reading Thomas' reply, I remembered that some of the effects I got with Coremelt Polychrome were free. Low and behold there is a free plug-in pack that has exposure flash.

Too Much Too Soon's Flashframe is free and cool. Take a look at this article on Free FCP plug-ins.
