Slicing through ONE track
on Aug 12, 2011 at 3:05:43 pm

I have my tracks stacked. When I do ctrl v, it slices through all of them. But I don't want that...is there a shortcut to slicing one single track when you've got your tracks stacked that way? The only way I can figure is grabbing my mouse and just clicking the single track. It starting to take forever when editing this much footage.

Thank you in advance!
Amy

That's what you do. Highlight the one track you want to slice, and then press Control V. Or, press B to get the BLADE TOOL, and click on the part you want to slice. Then press A to get the normal cursor again.
