Changing Audio from 32-bit floating point to 16-bit
on Aug 2, 2011 at 11:32:15 am

Hi All,

Im pretty new to FCP ( I'm using version 7 ) & looking for some help

I need to output a movie file as:

Quicktime .mov
ProRes 422LT
25 fps
Interlacing Field: Upper / top field first
Audio SD: 16-bit
Audio SF: 48KHz

So in sequence settings..on the General tab i have 16-bit selected on the Audio settings

After i send to compresser, i open the file i've made in fcp to check the info on it and it says the audio is 32-bit floating point

can this be changed to 16-bit and if so how ?

Any help much apreciated

Thanks

Floyd
