on Jul 1, 2011 at 2:07:19 am

I managed to capture all the video I needed from my canon xha1,I also managed to apply transitions to almost
Every part of the project as needed tested them and they work fine, accept for the last 3 clips in the timeline.
Whenever I try to add a transition between 2clips the transition stays on one of the clips instead of bridging the two clips as usual what am I doing wrong
I have a Mac pro intel 3.0 ghz,
8 gigs ram,
Radeon 1900xt video card

A transition requires footage from past the edge of the clip. If you use the last frame of a clip, the transition cannot extend beyond that point - as there is no material to draw from. The concept is called a 'handle' - the unused footage.

There are a couple of ways to deal with this. IF you use the blade tool and cut 15 frames off the ends (shortening both clips) you'll be able to create a transition.
