positioning multiple text clips with wireframe?
on Jun 27, 2011 at 8:39:55 pm

So i have multiple text clips in a timeline, and i want to move them all at the same time to position them. I would like to use the wireframe to get them where i want them - ive tried selecting multiple text clips, but then when i go to wireframe in the viewer it only moves the text clip that the playhead is on- any ides? Thanks so much -

Move your first text to the position that you want. Then copy that clip and paste the basic motion attribute to the other clips. If your ancore point is the same with all your text clips they should be all the the same location.

You can only make Multiple adjustments to clips under the playhead. Using the copy/paste method that Cody pointed out is your best solution.

sorry for such a newbie question, but how do i paste the attributes into the clip? I copied the one clip that had the location I wanted, then tried to do the "paste attributes " from the rt click menu onto another clip, but it did not change that clips location attribute -

thanks a ton -

Did you click any of the checkboxes like Basic Motion?
