FCP Quicktime to MPEG?
on Jun 16, 2011 at 10:30:45 pm

I shot video for a client but they'd like to do the editing themselves. The problem is, trying to convert the video from QT to MPEG and maintaining high-def resolution. I've digitized the video in FCP and I'm trying to come up with the best way to convert the video to MPEG so they can edit on their PC. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

What did you shoot the video on? With? Why not give them the raw files or tapes so they can capture/import into their system?

To add to shane's questions - what are they cutting on?

Thanks for your time Shane and Jeff. I won't bore you with the details, but I was able to work it out with the client. I appreciate your comments.
