FCP clip/sequence search function?
on May 11, 2011 at 5:55:17 pm

In Final Cut Pro, is there a way for me to do a quick search for a clip or sequence? For instance, if I come into some one else's project and can't find the the original clip or sequence something came out, is there a easy/quick way to find where it came from. I'm currently working on a project that has far too many clips, and I need a quicker way to trace where certain clios came from.

Thanks in advance.

You can use the match frame function F or reveal in in finder Shift-F to find where a clip in a sequence has come from. Is that what you mean?

All the best,

Tom
