Expresscard/34 eSATA Host controller compatibility for MAC

Can anyone recommend a Macbook Pro Snow Leopard compatible eSATA Host controller?

Am reading about many compatibility issues with external drives having the Oxford chipset and cannot find an option for me to connect to the drives I am looking to purchase.

Any thoughts on this topic?

many thanks!
Andre

2 ways to go:

If your storage manufacturer makes or has endorsed an eSATA solution, use it. They've tested (or built) the storage on it, so it will yield best performance.

As for 3rd party, Sonnnet's are pretty darn good (plus Snow Lep compatible): http://sonnettech.com/product/temposataedgeexpress34.html
