Pairing video and audio in documentary
on Nov 4, 2010 at 6:01:25 pm

Hi,

I'm editing my first documentary in FCP, to be about 7-8 minutes long.

I shot the main interview with my Sony NEX-5 and recorded the audio with a Zoom H1.

I would like the H1 audio to behave as if it is the NEX-5's audio tracks, so that I every clip that I cut into the timeline will include the H1 audio.

How do I do this?

Thanks!

Izhar

Find the common IN point on both...slate, clap..something like that. Then MARK IN on the video, mark IN on the audio, the go MODIFY>MERGE CLIPS. Then use those new clips.
