FCP Codec
on Sep 20, 2010 at 4:51:23 pm

Hello,

I have a client who would like to view some raw files on their Apple Lap Top. However they do not have Final Cut Pro installed on their system so are unable to view the files. I know that I can always convert the files to a different format so they can be viewed on any computer however I want to avoid this time consuming step and was wondering if their was a codec I can install on their computer so he can just view the raw files.

Thank You.

Hi Faraz,
If you say what kind of footage are you talking about, we may find a solution.

Whatever codec your raw material is in, that's the codec they require. There are dozens of codecs out there these days.
