Any advice on how to set up a stable Log and Transfer setting / session (to avoid crashes)? Is seems to crash all the time. It is AVCH files from the camera Panasonic Sd9 in Final Cut Pro..... Not too fun at all :-O

I still have much to learn ..... :-)

Are you using external drive as your scratch drive (something other than your system drive). How is that drive formatted?

What are YOUR settings.

We all have a lot to learn. It never ends.

Ok.....just to verify, I shoot P2 but the LT process should be the same.

When you mount your card that you had in your camera on your desk top, create a new folder on your desk top.

Copy the files from your mounted card to your new folder.

Now your files are on your desktop.

Now go to FCP to LT. Make sure your pref's in the top right hand corner of the LT window pane are correct.

Then go to the left side of the LT window, navigate to your folder on the desktop and import.

That should do it.

Let me know what happens after that.
