Doing something wrong, just not quite sure what...

Hi all,

I've come to notice that when I'm working on simultaneous projects, FCP is mixing up the scratch discs.

For example if I've been working on Project A, then shut that down and fire up Project B, when I go back to Project A, FCP has added autosave vaults and cache files from Project B into Project A's scratch discs.

At the start of each project I always point the project at its own folder, so why then does FCP go looking for the scratch discs elsewhere and why does it create new ones when it can't find them?

Thanks in advance!

Scratch Discs are universal. You must go into the System Settings and reset the Scratch Disc each time you open a Project.

System Settings > Scratch Disc.

Simply select the Hard Drive that the Scratch Disc is sitting on and FCP will automatically find the correct folder inside the Capture Scratch folder.
