FCP to Unity 5

Is it possible to load from two seperate systems with two seperate dvcam decks into the same fcp project to a single workspace on Unity? If not, can I create an additional fcp project to load to, then use media manager to consolidate that footage into the project I want it to live in?
Thanks

Two machines should not access the same project file. FCP is not like Avid this way. FCP projects are single files, where Avid projects are many files, each bin is a file.

And you don't need to use Media manager.

What you do is create a main project that will be the, well, main project. Then on the other machine you can create a capture project. This will make a folder that it will capture to. When you are done capturing, just move the clips via the finder to the folder you want them in, and then import those clips into the main project. Drag and drop works well.

And it would be best to work on the project from your system drive. Work locally, backup to the Unity.
