Audio tracks when Exporting Quicktime Movie
on Dec 12, 2009 at 7:00:25 pm

I just wanted to verify that if I am exporting a quicktime reference movie that it doesn't matter if my audio is on a3 and a4 instead of a1 and a2. I am running Pluraleyes and deleting the camera mic and rather than doing the extra step of moving the audio from a3 a4 to a1 a2 I was wondering if it is fine to leave it where it is when exporting. Anyone?

Thanks so much,

John

Unless you have changed something in the preferences FCP will output all audio panned left to Channel-1 and all audio panned right to channel-2. It makes no difference which track you edited on in your timeline.

David,

Thanks so much. I figured as much, but just wanted to double check.

John
