Pro Import FCP from Automatic Duck ??
on Aug 8, 2015 at 7:04:16 am

Hi All,

I need to import an AAF into FCP7 ASAP!
Does anyone have Pro Import FCP from Automatic Duck?
The export version I have is 4.1 (not the latest one) so I imagine if there's a corresponding import version of that version, that's what I would need.

Here's what we're working on. http://www.americanstreetkid.com

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Best
Michelle K

An AAF *into* FCP 7? From X? What's the end game here? XoCC (on app store) will get your X project into 7... then what?

EDIT: sorry, thought this was the X forum. I might have it though, let me poke around... Nope, but I sent a message to Wes, one of the Auto Duck developers though. Maybe he can help... :-)

Charlie - thank you so much! Another user sent it to me this morning. I was able to bring in the AAF but it only recognized one track of audio and none of the others....we gave up for now...

I kind of knew it would be a challenging procedure...c'est la vie

Thanks again.
Michelle

If you have access to Logic or ProTools it might open it properly, then maybe re-export and see if it works? Shot in the dark... Good luck, looks like a cool project. :-),
