[raju bhai] "I want to know what i should transcode to on FCP7. apple prores 422?"

Yes. Use Compressor, and while you are at it, convert the audio to PCM audio, 48k. 44.1 K will quickly lose sync in FCP 7.

[raju bhai] "should i scale up or down or is my frame size ok?"

No...the frame size and rate are correct. 720p is an HD standard, and 50fps is the standard frame rate for 720p HD in PAL land. All is good there.

[raju bhai] "also is 50fps ok or ought i change that? "

All is good.

OK great thanks. I haven't used compressor before, I usually use MPEG Streamclip, but looking at it, Compressor is probably much easier and is already integrated with FCP7, so i might as well use that instead. BTW, How is prores 422 proxy different from just standard proress 422? I imagine i should just use the standard non-proxy one?
