 | FCP 7 change all text clip properties at once

Hello,
I am finishing post on a feature-length foreign documentary that has over 1000 subtitles. In order to get all the subs checked I did the following:
exported an xml
converted it to STL
Converted it to Txt
All of the files are now ready to go back into fcp 7. However, we also need to change the font, size and placement of each as before they were just temps. I created a master txt file that has exactly what I want in terms of these properties. What I need to figure out is how to re-import the file (txt, stl or xml), while also conforming all the clip properties to be what I need.
I've tried title exchange but this doesn't seem to do what I need.
I remember seeing some program once that let's you put the stl or xml doc on the left side of the screen and the fcp template on the right and does the conversion, but can't think of the name or find it anywhere.
Any advice?
Thanks

Tote exchange does work, and can do exactly what you need it to,
But it can take a bit of getting used to,just follow the instructions closely
Or toucan do what it does manually by ending an XML file in a text editor.
That seems trickier to me!

Got it to work. That was very helpful. Thanks!
