Excessive Luma rendering problem
on Jun 27, 2014 at 12:03:21 am

Hello,

I am currently trying to get rid of any excessive Luma on my timeline using the option on the canvas window. All my clips have a Magic Bullet Looks filter applied to them and so also need rendering. Now here is my problem...

After I render out my entire sequence, I go to a clip and according to my canvas window my Luma levels are fine. However, if I go to the same clip and it needs rendering it now says I have excessive Luma... But the only difference was the fact that the clip needed to be rendered..makes no sense!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

What do your scopes say?

They are saying it's too hot.

Is Magic Bullet Looks interfering with FCP's ability to detect excessive Luma?
