Odd timeline problem
on Jun 11, 2014 at 12:23:08 pm

So I have NEVER encountered this and is hopefully an easy fix that I'm blind to.

Footage in the viewer is crystal clear, perfectly fine. Move it down to the timeline and it looks blurry almost deinterlaced, horrible and unusable.

Yes I made sure the timeline settings were the same as the clip settings. Very confused!

Footage was shot on a Sony HXR NX5U at 1920x1080

Timeline settings may be right, but what about video OUTPUT settings?

Hi Chris,
Could it be that your RT settings have been changed?
Just above your timeline on the left, you should see a button that says "RT"
If your playback video quality settings are "low," or if your frame rate playback is set to something less than full, this could be affecting your playback.

It sounds like a longshot based on your description, but it seemed worth suggesting.
