Hello everyone,

I have my project set and was working on it, i told my friend to export the film as i go do some other business and come back. When i came back the video was exported but the media was offline.

I tried reconnecting, it finds them but doesn't take off the media offline (from thumbnail and canvas)
I tried "Reveal in finder" and it says "File not found"
The files do not say "Render" at the end of the clip name in the timeline

The files are still in the same place, i haven't changed or played with anything.

As the solutions i read i've tried:
1) clearing the cache file
2) deleting the cache folder
3) deleting the preferences
4) rebooting

At this point there is nothing else i can do. I'm going crazy.

I can go back and trim every footage and put the color-correction filter on them but that'll be time consuming.

Please help.

I think your friend did NOT export a self-contained quicktime movie. In stead, he exported a REFERENCE quicktime movie, which doesn't work when moved to other computers.

I think you will have to export again. This time as a self-contained QT.
