50fps converting
on Apr 15, 2014 at 4:01:24 pm

Hi!

I have footage shot with Cannon 7D, but some of the clips are shot in 50fps. How should I convert it into prores so I get the slow motion effect? I tried converting it with MPEG Streamclip, and I tried all the options - tried converting it with 25fps, 50fps and I even left the frame rate place blank, but I can not get the effect of slow-mo when I import it into FCP7.
Does anyone know what should I do?

Outside of FCP, find your clip and duplicate it. Open it in Cimema Tools. CONFORM the clip to 25fps. Import the conformed clip into FCP.
