Footing jumping/skipping in FCP timeline
on Jan 12, 2014 at 10:16:19 am

Hello

I'm editing some footage filmed on a Canon C100.

The files are 23.98 fps and I'm editing them at the same.

In FCP some of the clips appear to be skipping/jumping, especially on moving footage.

Not quite sure what's causing this, could it be my mac/processor isn't up to editing the job as the files are so large?

Any help would be appreciated :)

Diane.

Did you convert the footage first?

Hi Shane,

I converted the files to .mov Apple Pro Res on capture from the card using Aunsoft. The problem I have is that was almost a year ago.

Thanks,

Diane.
