on Aug 18, 2013 at 4:23:53 am

Hello,
I Editing my new Documentary film and there's some material that i downloaded with Different Aspect Ratios but most of my material shoot with canon 550D (1920x1080) my question is can i edit all videos in the same sequence and don't get the square look 4:3 , or what is the best way to make my cuts between the 4:3 videos and 16:9 smooth and not jump-cuts ?

If you are editing SD, then I suggest sticking full screen (4:3) and any 16:9 footage you'll have to manually "Pan & scan." If you are working in HD, then you need to blow up the 4:3 footage to fill the screen (this will chop off the top and bottom) and again, manually pan & scan and frame each video, shot by shot.
