It's kind of backward questions/stituation but hope some guru can help...
I have Final Cut Studio 2, which include Final Cut Pro 6 on my 5 year old MacBook Pro, which broke finally.
My choice of new computer was Refurbished MacBook Pro with OS X Lion, which came out in Oct 2011.
Hoping it would install Final Cut Pro 6, by installing Rosetta which is supposedly included in OS X Leopard disc which I own... but my mistake was that Leopard didn't have Rosetta included.
So I'm left with bunches of choices and wondering what'd be the best way to go or if my thinking works...
1. Upgrading from Final Cut Pro 6 to 7 - Is there way to do that? I know they don't sell FCP 7 anymore
and not willing to go to FCP X
2. Or, any way to download / install Rosetta on my current computer with OS Lion? If I had Rosetta installed
I'd be able to install and use FCP 6 right?
I'm not too tech savvy and any suggestions will be helpful. Yes, I do editing but not everyday basis, so FCP 6 was just good enough - and not willing to learn FCP X at this point...
