How do I Identify Clips Linked to Missing Plug In?
on Jun 24, 2013 at 8:30:06 pm

I have a feature length Final Cut Pro 7 project with thousands of clips and about 30 sequences. I had a plug in that previously worked before I switched to an Intel based Mac. Now that I am working on the Intel Mac the plug in does not work and I have been forced to delete references to the out of date plug in.
Compressor aborts every time I try to export the project with a reference to the missing plug in.

I have tried to delete all the filter plug in references, but there is still at least one clip (forcing compressor to recognize it and abort export) that has the plug in missing.

Rather than spending all week going through each shot one by one, is there a way to find the clip that has the missing plug in?

Sorry, no way to search a clip or clips that contain a certain plugin. You can remove all the filters/plugins from all the clips at once...or need to go through one clip at a time.
