Sony nx30 import problems
on Jun 12, 2013 at 6:21:47 am

I recorded video at 1080p60 with the camera. I went to log and transfer into FCP7, but it didn't recognize. I downloaded a converter and it imported the footage, but much darker than the way it was shot. Any suggestions? Thank you

What converter? What codec did you convert to?

FCP doesn't do 1080p60 via log and transfer...nor does it have presets (although it will make custom ones when you add the clip to the timeline). 1080p60 is a non-standard format. No current distribution method for it...not TV, not web, not BluRay. The main reason for shooting 1080p60 is to get great slow motion for 30fps or 24fps.

BUT, you still need to convert it to slow it down. ClipWrap2 by divergentmedia.com does a bang up job
